Rookie CEO Award Winner

As many of you readers know, I refer to my book, “The Rookie CEO, You Can’t Make This Stuff Up!” in most posts here on CEO Insights. I attempt to connect lessons learned from each post to topics from the book. You may ask, “Is he just trying to sell his book?” Yes and No; let’s explore exactly what this means and why.

All authors want to sell their books, but more importantly, we want to impact people’s lives. This past week, Book Authority named my book one of the top 5 books for new CEOs. To me, this is confirmation that I am impacting and enriching lives from the book. This is exciting! I am passionate about helping aspiring CEOs and leaders to be successful. As our very own Rich Tehrani, CEO of TMC, wrote the Foreword for my book, he also gets to enjoy the recognition!

I am honored to receive this recognition and award as a winner in this category for new CEOs, and since publishing in October of 2020 and into the future, I will continue to touch many professional lives of aspiring CEOs, new CEOs, and anyone who loves to follow the topic of CEOs and their path to the top, their philosophies, their leadership styles, and how culture results from these behaviors (see PPLC framework in the book)! My goal in both writing the book and writing these blog posts on CEO Insights is to educate and entertain. The continued CEO Insights growth of new readers (just under 1200 already this month) and returning readers (over 8,000 already this month) confirm I am making headway in impacting lives.

My book maintains a top 10 to top 50 rankings in several Amazon categories (which change by the hour on Amazon) and was a #1 new release for several weeks last fall. The CEO Insights blog complements the book and both are all original content, including the guest posts which I incorporate into the posts. All content is educational and designed to impact the lives of aspiring CEOs and leaders!

When “Book Authority” bestowed the award this month, I am honored and excited to share it with you. If you have not read the book yet, please consider getting your copy from Amazon here. You will find Kindle, paperback, hardcover, and audiobook formats. The hardcover and paperback are also available in many online retail stores and the audiobook is available from Amazon, Audible, and Apple.

Thank you for stopping by the CEO Insights blog, and please come back for fresh content regularly. We will have additional guest blog posts plus fresh new ideas for our readers!
